Abstract Bronze

2018. Bronze. private collection, shelburne, vt. 

This abstract form is a private commission, designed collaboratively with the client to divert rainfall from the place where the roof eaves meet, creating an acoustic effect. Bronze planes were welded into shape, and the seams ground and polished. The sculpture was finished with a verdigris patina, but it will continue to age naturally in the elements.
